Discover the Keys to a Supple Healthy Spine
The spine plays a key role in healthy body and a happy life. When there is pain and discomfort in the back, it drains our energy, creates agitation, and puts us in a bad mood.
The spine is a central column of energy and information that connects brain to body. In Qi Gong, the meridian (energy pathway) that runs through the spine is called the Governing Channel because of how it governs the functions of the body and mind. Working with the energy of the spine is fundamental to a healthy mind and body.
Most people have blocked energy or “stagnant Qi”, as it’s called in Chinese Medicine, along the spine. This is why over 65 million Americans experience back pain at any given time.
After age 18, the spinal fluid doesn’t lubricate the spine as naturally. Adults need to move, stretch and breathe deep to get this spinal fluid moving.
You rarely see children hurt their backs. They don’t bend over and pick up their pencil and say, “ouch, that hurt my back!” They more than likely flip and flop all over the house without a care and rarely get hurt.
Why? Because of the suppleness of their spine.
Can you imagine bringing this youthful vitality back into your spine?
